Character & Canon: Red & Pokémon
District: Orlea

Personality:
Being a silent protagonist, Red is... well, pretty quiet. Not quite as quiet as the games make him out to be, though; he does talk, but usually only when he's spoken to. The only time he really initiates conversations himself is when he needs to ask a question. Because of this, he sometimes comes off as being unfriendly, but that isn't his intention at all. He just naturally doesn't talk much, and when he does have to talk a lot, it makes him feel rather uncomfortable. Therefore, he isn't too fond of being around people, especially crowds, but he can still handle the bare minimum amount of social interaction required to get him through life.

The only thing that really gets him going is Pokémon. He absolutely adores them, even though he didn't get into them until his former best friend Green turned into an obnoxious douchebag. Catching them, training them, kicking ass with them, he loves it all. Although Pokémon battling is a big thing for him, he still treats his Pokémon with the love and respect they deserve, and he even considers them to be his closest friends, especially his starter Pokémon, Pikachu. They've been through so much together, and he honestly can't imagine life without his little yellow mouse. While he treats all of his Pokémon equally, it goes without saying that Pikachu is one of the most important ones to him. It's because of his and his Pokémon's mutual love for each other, as well as Red's skills that he managed to earn all eight Kanto badges, become the Champion of Kanto, and later earn the eight Johto badges as well.

Of course, it's not just his own Pokémon that he cares about; he cares about all Pokémon, and even though social interaction will always be his worst enemy, he cares about other people, as well. Red will never hesitate to help a Pokémon or person in need, no matter what his odds of success are. This is best demonstrated by his battles against Team Rocket, never being afraid to take them all on alone, and he always triumphs over them, saving any people or Pokémon in their grasp. However, this behavior can also classify him as pretty damn reckless; one can't deny that a single eleven-year-old boy going up against an entire organization of criminals is completely insane and very dangerous. Not only that, but seeking out and capturing legendary Pokémon is equally reckless, considering that they're significantly more dangerous than normal wild Pokémon, and definitely a royal pain in the ass to catch. Red doesn't use them in his party or brag about capturing them, though, because he knows that wouldn't be fair to other trainers.

Speaking of other trainers, Red's relationship with Green is definitely worth talking about here. When they were little kids, they were best friends and used to play with each other all the time, but then it was like Green woke up one morning and decided, "Hey, I think I want to be a royal asshole!" So they stopped playing with each other, which hurt Red badly and sparked his interest in Pokémon. If Green wouldn't be his friend, then he'll just get a better one; a Pokémon friend, because everyone knows that Pokémon are much nicer than people are. Ever since then, Green's constant attempts to one-up him and the way that he treats Red in general never fail to grate on his nerves, and he always feels a strong sense of satisfaction whenever he defeats Green in a Pokémon battle. He may get things done faster than Red, but, as the saying goes, slow and steady wins the race!

Despite all that, though, he would be lying if he said that he didn't care about Green at all. As much as the guy drives him up a wall, Green was still his friend once, and he isn't so heartless as to stop caring about people so easily. He actually felt kind of bad when he saw how frustrated Green was about losing the title of Champion to him, and he felt even worse seeing Professor Oak rag on him so harshly. Of course, he will never, ever tell Green that, for multiple reasons. Or tell him that he cares in general, really. But now that it's been a few years since Red last saw him, he does sometimes find himself wondering how Green's doing and what he's been up to ever since his downfall from the Pokémon League. He can almost say that he misses the guy, but he won't be admitting that anytime soon.

Character & Canon: Aoi Asahina & Dangan Ronpa
District: Mallowhallow

Personality:
Aoi is the definition of energy. She's extremely bright and peppy, with a love of sports (especially swimming) exceeded only by her love of donuts. She isn't the brightest star in the sky when it comes to academics - she easily forgets kanji and isn't one of the more logical members of her class - but she has a very big heart. She connects with people easily and doesn't fear letting her emotions show; more often than not her feelings cloud her judgement. She takes death very seriously, and it bothers her a lot when other people don't or when they disrespect the deceased. Aoi shares some normal concerns of girls who are not Super High-School Level anything; she worries about her weight and whether or not she's feminine enough to have a boyfriend. She's never been in love, though, or even had a crush, so she isn't really clear on how a normal boyfriend-girlfriend relationship works. She doesn't dwell on that much though, determined that she'll get it someday. She's got all the determination of a standard heroine - even if she isn't the heroine of Dangan Ronpa, she's definitely got the spirit of one. She also has a very strong sense of right and wrong. She may jump to conclusions and follow patterns of logic more simple than a situation demands, but it can't be said that her heart isn't in the right place. She's prone to extreme action when her emotions flare, as well. All in all, she's a good friend and an extremely exuberant, cheery classmate, if more emotional than intelligent.

Character & Canon: Touya & Pokemon (AU)
District: Astralfield

Personality:
Touya's AU puts up to classic two RPG classes on a person, and Touya's are Healer and Berserker. It's an unusual combination, and gives him two very different personalities and sets of strengths and weaknesses. He has a ring that seals his Berseker side, so he can switch between them at will (though he won't unless he feels it's unavoidable).

Usually, as a Healer, Touya is extremely kind and gentle. He is incapable of attacking anyone and wouldn't even if he could. Although confident and assertive about health, he gets very unsure and nervous when it comes to any sort of conflict, particularly anything violent. Blood also makes him nervous - he's seen far more of it, shed far more of it, than he'd like. He's determined to help other people, even at risk to his own wellbeing, and considers it atonement for the crimes he's committed as a Berserker. He doesn't think of himself as a hero at all, or even a good person; as such, he tends to be humble and quiet when praised. Touya is also not very good at being social - his status as a Berserker ensures that most people who know won't trust him (even he doesn't fully trust himself), and are in fact scared of him. He's accustomed to traveling alone because of that, and he's not used to making close friends. He's rather intelligent, having spent a lot of his time quiet and studying, and can also be quite stubborn. He's good at keeping secrets, and will keep the fact that he's a Berserker as secret as possible - it's caused him a lot of pain and trouble in the past, and he doesn't want to be hurt again.

When he removes his ring and goes Berserk, Touya changes completely. He loses all senses and ability to plan, as well as his kind nature. He's bloodthirsty and seeks nothing but battle and the thrill of the hunt, the fight, the kill. He is incapable of telling friend from foe - anything still moving only registers as a target. He won't listen to reason and attacks without mercy. He rushes straight into battle with neither plan nor strategy nor any sense of self-preservation, ignoring any injuries he receives rather than accommodating them. Wild and feral, he's more beast than human like this, which is part of the reason he hides it. This is supposedly his true nature.

He has different abilities in each class, as well as a different Pokemon for each (he only has two Pokemon; AU mechanics apply). As a Healer, his Pokemon is Audi, an Audino. He is incapable of attacking others, so Audi usually has to do the fighting. Both of them, however, are capable of healing others - Audi through Heal Pulse and other restorative moves, and Touya through the use of magic. He isn't very fast, and he really can't take a hit (he has extremely poor defense), but he was trained by the best Healer in his world's history so he knows rather a lot. Using his magic does makes him fatigued, however, and after a certain point he won't be able to heal others normally until after he's had a good sleep. That would be when he's used up all of his "magical energy"; but there's another kind of energy he can use to fuel his magic in dire circumstances. It's called "spirit energy" and is, in essence, his spirit, the kind of energy keeping him alive. It's far more potent and can do a lot more than magical energy, but he has a lot less of it and there are harsh consequences if he uses too much. Excessive use of his spirit energy will put him to sleep for extended periods of time, cause any injuries
he has to stop healing for some length of time, and, at the worst, kill him. In either case, he can't use magic to heal himself.

As a Berserker, he can attack but loses the ability to use magic - everything is melee. He can't plan or strategize, which means if someone tried to read his mind, while it would work, they wouldn't learn anything useful because even he wouldn't know what he was about to do. He runs on pure adrenaline as a Berserker, his senses heightened to extremes. He's much faster and stronger than a normal person (the muscles carry over to when he's a Healer, too) and makes every use of his speed and strength in battle. Although he still can't really take a hit, he will usually power through any injuries he might have or gain, ignoring them entirely in the moment of battle. He won't slow down for even life-threatening injuries or stop fighting until either his ring is back on his finger or he passes out - usually from injuries he ignored for too long, often after everything else in the area has stopped moving. His Pokemon as a Berserker is a Bouffalant, and it's just as wild and powerful as Touya is.

Questions/Comments/Concerns: If someone in Astralfield dreams a memory or something very abstract or intangible, how does it become part of their surroundings? Does it just manifest in a method of mun's discretion?

Character & Canon: Hilda ; Pokémon (Games)
District: Astralfield

Personality: First and foremost, as in all Pokemon games, Hilda is a "silent" protagonist. However, the NPCs of the game and the way that they speak to and about her give her a solid personality

Hilda is described as "a young girl with a lively style". She is a very determined and inspired girl who was taught never to give up. Even her name says it - in all languages, it has something to do with "battles" or "fighting". At the beginning of the game she starts out as a brand-new Pokemon trainer from Nuvema Town, with a dream to become to travel Unova and become the best trainer she can be. She starts her journey along with her two childhood friends Cheren and Bianca. While Bianca is a bit clumsy and easygoing and Cheren is very serious and firm, Hilda remains as the neutral party - easygoing, but serious when she needs to be. Throughout her Pokemon journey, she engages in friendly Pokemon battles with both of them to help each other get stronger. She helps Cheren realize that being the Champion of the Pokemon Leauge not only has to do with strength, but with the bond you share with your Pokemon, and she helps Bianca get stronger as a person and as a trainer.

However, the biggest changing factor to her personality and how she matures throughout the game is through N, the king of Team Plasma. When they first met, he introduced Hilda to his dream of a world where Pokemon and humans are separated. This gets her thinking, to the point where she admits she's curious about how Pokemon really feel about their trainers. She's previously thought that Pokemon were happy with people, so she's trying to see both sides of the argument. As time goes by and she finds out that N is the king of Team Plasma, she decides on disagreeing with him - Pokemon and humans are meant to live in harmony. At the end of the game, she helps N understand that you can accept both sides of an argument instead of rejecting them. Opinions and beliefs do not need to be forced upon others.

When Hilda and N meet in Mistralton City, he learns from her team that she is truly a kind trainer and that her Pokemon enjoy being under her care. This surprises N, and he uses her ways of training as an example for how others should treat their Pokemon:

"If every person and Pokémon cared about one another like you two do, I could watch over the future of people and Pokémon without having to liberate Pokémon from people who just use them."

If N, who has a pure heart and can speak with and understand Pokemon, can tell Hilda that her Pokemon care for her and vice versa, that's saying a lot. N is not an easily swayed or impressed person, so this is an indication of what kind of trainer she is - strong, but kind. She was also recognized by Reshiram as a hero along with N and Zekrom, which only proves the point further.

All in all, Hilda has learned a lot on her journey. She's won many battles, lost a few, made new friends both Pokemon and human alike, and she's seen seen Unova in it's entirety. Since the events at N's Castle, not much changed. She still kept Bianca and Cheren as close friends, even battling them now and again to keep up their strength. From her canon point, her new goal is to help Professor Juniper by completing the Pokedex and find the remaining Team Plasma Sages. It's big, but she has no qualms or fears in tackling it. A Pokemon Trainer's work is never finished, after all!

Character & Canon: junko enoshima ♛ dangan ronpa
District: crystalden

Personality: spoilers!
There's one way to summarize Junko Enoshima's personality, desires, motivations, and strength: despair. Despair is Junko's entire being, whether she's the driving force or just hiding in the shadows. Everything Junko has ever worked for, planned, and executed, was in the name of despair. It's just that big of a deal for her.

Junko was accepted into Hope's Peak Academy for her performance as a "Super High-school Level Fashion Girl" since she appears in a number of popular magazines across Japan. She takes pride in her appearance, which seems to be the only normal thing about her. She's obsessed with sadness and lost hope, and even puts herself in these positions to experience it as well. It's not just a fascination, it's an actual fetish, and it goes as far as wanting to destroy the world with it.

Despite wanting to mess everything up, Junko casually mentions that she did actually enjoy her classmates while in school. However, that didn't exactly help the class in question, or even her own despair-loving twin sister (who she killed in the game for reasons that make no sense beyond "she experienced ultimate despair" or "it was to give the rest of you a push") — Hope's Peak Academy represents hope for the future, yet Junko put them in a setting to kill each other just to destroy this hope. She realizes that "hope" is an enemy to "despair", even if she just went ahead and took over the world. If someone still manages to have the courage to fight, she sees it as a threat, no matter what kind of mind tricks she puts at play. This is why she reacts so strongly and tries so hard to break their spirit, or even go as far as to get them killed.

Actually interacting with her, though, is not exactly something that's predictable. She mentions that she resents her own personality, yet she's always changing it. She acts like a teen rebel one moment, a teacher the next, and an anime character after that. Her multiple facets make it hard to point out what she's exactly like, but she has shown genuine surprise, seriousness, and excitement.

She puts herself on a pedestrial, as both a genius and in beliefs. As far as she is concerned, she simply can't be beaten. Despair will always win.

Character & Canon: Judai Yuki | Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
District: Whitewood

Personality:

In his essence, Judai is a very youthful and carefree person and can easily come off as child-like. He enjoys having fun and doing things on his own terms. He draws a great amount of enjoyment out of life and living to the fullest, though this is something that he has to work hard to perpetuate in himself once again after undergoing numerous life-changing events while in school that forced him to come to terms with the fact that he couldn’t always be carefree. And while he no longer is consistently light-hearted, he is able to continue enjoying life despite everything.

His favorite thing to do is play a children’s card game, something that he even went to school to learn how to do better – though duelists are highly regarded in his society, he still treats the duel as more of a fun game than anything else. Every duel is something that’s meant to be fun, and Judai revels in the chance to take on new challengers and better himself as a duelist and, by proxy, a person.

Also much like a child, Judai is quite socially ignorant. He doesn’t fully understand how other people work, mostly because he has a hard time forcing himself to focus on others instead of himself and his own enjoyment. While he has gotten much better with this problem over the past year and a half, Judai still has a hard time connecting with people. Most don’t understand what he’s been through and how his mind works (mostly because he grew up with the ability to see Duel Monsters spirits and had never met anyone else who could until he met Johan Andersen) and he just simply doesn’t have the ability or desire to explain it to them. Instead, he keeps a safe distance, rarely letting anyone close enough to see anything but his happy-go-lucky exterior.

Despite this, Judai is very friendly and charismatic. He has a natural charm that draws people to him and his constant push on himself to get better makes the people around him want to improve their skills as well. While he may not normally make comment on those around him, he does occasionally notice their efforts and rewards them with a small praise – which is huge for anyone who knows him well enough. Typically those who receive his praise have either just dueled him or are very close friends of his who understand him a little better than most.

Judai also suffers from a severe hero complex. Actually, it’s less that he wants to save others and more that he desires to sacrifice himself in the place of others, almost as if he believes that he deserves and can handle the torment better than most. He frequently tries to leave his friends behind to keep them out of danger, specifically when he’s trying to fix a mistake that he has decided was his fault.

On that note, Judai loses the ability to fully control his anger and sadness whenever he actually realizes that he’s done something horribly wrong – like when he accidentally trapped Johan in the Duel Monsters world or when he inadvertently killed his own closest friends. Whenever he deviates from what he sees as the path of a hero, Judai falls into a downward spiral of depression and self-loathing which forces him to draw deep within himself to forget everything he’s done. While he is better at letting things slide over him now than when he was in school, Judai still has a tendency to blame himself too fiercely for anything he has done. While others may forgive him, Judai takes much longer to actually forgive himself.

Judai has a very one-track mind. When something captures his attention, it captures it fully and he has a hard time turning away from it at that point. For example, when his friend was left behind, he focused on getting him back to the exclusion of all else. This single-mindedness has landed Judai in quite a few pickles because he sometimes stops paying attention to his surroundings or how badly hurt those around him are.

Being surrounded by people is something that Judai has grown very used to over the years. It has been a very long time since Judai has truly been alone. He has been able to see Duel Monster spirits from a very young age and so has always at least had them for company. On top of that, in his last year of school Judai fused his soul with the soul of Yubel - a Duel Monster spirit who had been his childhood friend. Yubel had always been by Judai’s side, but she hurt the people around him through her jealousy. Judai parted with her for a long time, but when she returned he promised her that they would never be apart again and so fused their souls into one. They have been together for a little over a year at this point. As such, Judai doesn’t actually know how to handle being alone and can get very lonely very quickly unless there is someone there to distract him. (Note: Judai’s soul is literally fused with Yubel’s soul in canon. It will be forcefully taken away from him for this game.)

In summation, though Judai is a very happy person outwardly, he holds a number of deep secrets within. Crack him open and you’ll find layers you wouldn’t expect of someone so absent-minded and full of smiles. However, he is always fighting to make himself better and become a true hero – maybe even enough of a hero to save the world.

Questions/Comments/Concerns: EDIT I'd like for Judai to have his pet cat Pharaoh with him. Pharaoh travels in Judai's duffle bag most of the time, so I'd also like for Judai to have that as well! If that's alright, of course.

Character & Canon: Yomiel | Ghost Trick
District: Crystalden

Personality:
MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR GHOST TRICK NO SERIOUSLY
There are three layers to Yomiel, who is probably the most complex character in the enirety of Ghost Trick.

The first layer is the one he shows to most people, which is an nonchalant air which he can use to his advantage. He gives off the appearance that he is a rather okay person- he isn't overly nice, but he isn't too mean, either. He seems to just be passing through life without any worry. The way he described it, he said he felt like he walked through a world where nobody cared about him. Not that this bothers him- he seems to take it in stride, all while observing how people act in the meantime.

The second layer is his madness. Fueled by the desire for revenge for the injustice he has felt has been done to him, Yomiel doesn't care if anybody gets hurt or killed, as long as he comes out on top. He is insulting, and often mocks people he hates openly, laughing when they try to threaten or hurt him. He manipulates people extraordinarily well even without his ghost powers, and the fact that he can literally get into somebody else's head just makes it even worse. Morals? What morals? Even that little girl who he kidnapped in the park all those years ago should deserve to die. He's self-centered, and shows no remorse at his actions, only taking sadistic pleasure when he sees somebody he hates get into a dangerous situation they can't get out of. He refuses to acknowledge that he might be to blame for the problems he got himself into, and only seeks to lash out and hurt others in his emotional anguish.

Because the third layer is the one which he hides exceptionally well. Inside the madness is a bitter person, hating his immortality like nothing else. This is his emotional side, the side that actually feels guilty for taking a hostage all those years ago. He feels rather lonely, as all the people he really cared about passed away a long time ago. The only friend he has is Sissel, the black cat, as it acknowledges him and his existence. The only reason why he pursues revenge is to show the world that inside he is suffering, wasting away from a world that does not care. His powers are useless towards anything else but revenge, he believes, and he feels utterly cut off from everyone else, a mere shadow of a person that will never truly live life like it's meant to be lived.

Character & Canon: dawn ❥ pokémon (gameverse)
District: whitewood

Personality:
Despite her behavior as Professor Rowan's assistant if Lucas is the player character, Dawn as the PC is a different character, shaped by different experiences and with different motivations guiding her along.

Dawn is, in many ways, the classic heroine figure; She's clever, determined, kind, friendly and courageous. When she meets someone she's earnest, treating them as a friend whether they think of her as one yet or not. When faced with even the most stubborn Pokemon Dawn is doggedly determined to prove herself to them and to any human that sees her; It's this sincerity that gradually wins her Pokemon over and makes them into a tight-knit team that would tackle anything put before them. There is little in the world she cherishes more than her friends and can put up with a lot from them (just look at what she deals with from Barry, constant fining and runnings into!), and would do almost anything to help them in any way she can. Like one would expect from someone that's so friendly, she's also very compassionate. Cruelty in any form is something Dawn can never abide by, and she treats both people and Pokemon with respect and kindness.

While many people would likely call her naive, that's not strictly true. Over the course of her adventure she's seen a lot of things that aren't exactly butterflies and sunshine, and found out things that wouldn't fail to make anyone a little sad. Rather than be skeptical because of these things, however, Dawn chooses to remain true to her nature and be optimistic. It's because of this mix of forgiving and brightsiding that she feels people deserve a chance to prove they've changed for the better, no matter what they've done in the past; She was content to let the remnants of Team Galactic pick up the pieces and move on because Saturn said he wanted to remake the team into something better. Still, there's a very childish side of her she's never quite grown out of. She's enthusiastic about anything she decides to do, often to the point where she doesn't think of, or care about, the reasons she shouldn't do it or why she could fail, and only becomes all the more determined to accomplish her goals as time passes; Very little can deter her from a course of action once she's on it or heading for it. Knowing the dangers or obstacles she'll face along the way just makes Dawn more determined to overcome and surpass them all. This isn't always a healthy trait to have, of course; Very few people would ever consider charging into the Distortion World after a shadowy monster through a world-warping rift a safe or sane course of action, but she did anyway. She might not admit it, but she enjoys the adrenaline rush of doing crazy, dangerous things.

It's important to note that Dawn wants to do the right thing in her own eyes, whether it means getting involved in rescuing a Pokemon or a little girl's father or backtracking to the nearest town to heal her Pokemon. It doesn't sit well with her to stand idly by while there's something she can do to help anyone or anything in need of help (whether they ask for help or not), and her own safety means little in these situations. Threats to her person? Haha! Recognition and reward means little in the face of knowing she did right, and being praised for it is admittedly a little embarrassing! She only did what anyone would have done, right? Several characters (such as Cyrus and Cynthia) have commented on her kind heart, and it's not a hard thing to notice. Helping out means as much to her as her own personal aims, and this heroine finds it just as rewarding in a different sort of way. It's also worthy of notice that Dawn isn't afraid to break the law to follow her moral code. Investigating Team Galactic, and thwarting them, required a few instances of breaking and entering, and she'd happily do it again if she felt it was necessary.

People that fight her probably aren't expecting what they get, either. Conquering the Pokemon League is a prestigious feat only accomplished by the best of the best, and there's a good reason Dawn was able to earn the title of Pokemon Champion; For all her sweet and kind disposition, Dawn is pretty damn good at strategics and is be a powerful opponent. She's never had a formal education (the only school in Sinnoh is in Jubilife, and she goes there for the first time when she starts her training journey), but she's learned what she can and has a surprising knowledge on some subjects and is always interested in learning more about virtually everything (it also helps that she's a quick learner). Dawn makes up for her lack of book learning with the ability to think fast on her feet, and taking care of herself on her journey has helped her mature and learn responsibility.

For all her natural good-person-ness, Dawn isn't infallible. If she doesn't realize something is wrong, she won't try and right it, and she won't always recognize a Bad Thing when she sees it; It took her a few meetings to finally see that something about Cyrus was off, and even then she didn't expect to see he was the leader of Team Galactic, and she never realized something was odd with the guards blocking off Lake Valor! While she isn't impatient to the same level as Barry, delays and waiting around make her eager to get going and she can get caught up in the excitement of very bad ideas to the point of going through with them. There's a decidedly vain side present in her; Her hairstyle certainly takes effort to get right and anyone who wears a miniskirt to go traveling the region probably isn't doing so for the most practical reasons. Not even experiencing the difficulties have gotten her to change her attire because she can be bullheadedly stubborn to a fault and won't always admit she's wrong or had a bad idea. Insulting or mocking her friends is a fast way to getting her angry, and she's not terribly good at hiding when she's mad. If someone upsets or annoys her, she can act very childish about it.

All in all, Dawn is a teenage girl with a heroic streak that's miles wide. She loves adventure and getting to know people and Pokemon, and while her life hasn't been the simplest, safest, or even the most stable, she wouldn't have it any other way.

Character & Canon: Apollo & Olimpos.
District: Whitewood.

Personality:
It's hard, being a god. It's hard and no-one understands.

Apollo has lived a long life, a long long long life, and that shit gets boring after a while. In fact, he's lived so long that he doesn't even remember coming into being, a fact which bemuses him.

A lengthy life of great power has lead to what could be regarded as some significant personality flaws. He is so used to being surrounded by beauty that he doesn't really notice beautiful things anymore. It also means he doesn't see humans as much more than bugs to crush under his feet.

For a long time he didn't even see humans as individuals, and though he didn't specifically take pleasure in their death, their strong reactions at the thought of dying interest him, which means he comes off as quite sadistic, almost sociopathic. He has a strong sense of schadenfreude, especially when his role as "god" means humans expect him to play the genie. When he promises to fulfill someone's wish it may backfire on them or else they may get it too late for what they want. Often when victims are upset in an interesting way Apollo goes from predatory to delighted, sometimes going so far as to laugh until his sides hurt.

So Apollo is filled with ennui and he will do anything to entertain himself. This makes him manipulative. Mostly he likes to play pranks, even if they're convoluted, mostly based around the idea of lying to someone even though he physically cannot tell a direct lie. Being solely able to speak the truth also makes Apollo a bit of a cheater. It's almost lazy the way he discovers whether or not he could beat someone in a fight without actually fighting them.

Part of that may be down to his vanity. Apollo may pretend carelessness but he obviously thinks very hard about the way in which he presents himself, and looking beautiful and effortless is very important to him. He strongly believes there is no-one more beautiful than he.

Having spent his whole life having anything he wants, Apollo is also spoilt and childish. More than just privileged and pampered, he is omniscient, immortal and powerful. Losing those attributes would be a great blow, as he has never had to look after himself, never had to deal with any part of being human that he didn't experience simply because he wanted to (for instance, Apollo doesn't have to eat.) It's worth noting here that Apollo doesn't enjoy that an aspect of his power means he has to kiss humans, claiming they are "dirty". He also doesn't have complex enough emotions to understand falling in love and he doesn't think anyone except he and his sister are beautiful. Though in mythology Apollo was a great lover of both men and women, Apollo has not had enough interest in the human world to ever have real, actual sex. (He hasn't with Artemis because that's not what they're about, they transcend physical need.) What I'm saying is, he is a thousand thousand years old and still has his v-card.

His childlike nature can be positive: there is a certain innocence and naivety about him. Apollo is very curious and introspective. He thinks about the nature of things, including gods and men, philosophizes sometimes cryptically, and a lot of his actions are questions to find out about the nature of the world. He enjoys learning new things even when they upset him, and the very nature of "unknown unknowns", i.e. information he wasn't even aware he didn't possess is highly antithetical to him.

Or his childlike nature can be negative: Apollo is easily irritated, quick to throw a tantrum. When someone compares a mortal's beauty to his sister Artemis, who is his other half, and the love of his life, he is very quickly furious. His reactions to things are rude, often deliberately so, since he loves to try and get a reaction from people. Frequently he calls other people idiotic and he can be very critical and judgmental. He's not afraid to insult someone to their face, but woe betide anyone who can turn the tables on him, as he'll grow cranky. But Apollo doesn't really hold grudges, and he forgets about things that don't hold his interest: when Iris dies his interest in humans cuts out. And the silence, of introspection, mystique or snobbery, can be just as important to him as his raging.

Mostly this childishness is, at its core, a lack of empathy, particularly for human nature. Apollo has no concept of "death": obviously humans are mortal and they stop existing, but he doesn't understand the drive humanity has to do things within it's lifespan, or the fear that comes with that fragility. While he is hardly bold or reckless, Apollo is never really afraid.

Questions/Comments/Concerns: Since Apollo is a Greek deity with untold manga power, I'm severely nerfing his overwhelming power, mindreading, teleportation, shapeshifting, incorporeality etc, but keeping his flying/floating, inability to lie, and invulnerability.

Character & Canon: Natasha Romaoff (aka Black Widow) & Marvel Cinematic Universe.
District: Crystalden.

Personality:
The most immediate and unlikely word that comes to mind with Natasha is direct. Though she may play games and love the Thanatos Gambit, there is something very direct about Natasha. She speaks directly, and doesn't take any shit. Level-headed and fairly logical, she has a soldierly way of addressing those around her. Though she may convey respect or derision with her words, she never coddles, never elaborates with unnecessary information, and can basically come off as a cold-hearted bitch.

There is ice in her; perhaps it's her Russian upbringing. But it is the shell around a core of warmth. Natasha is capable of great depth of feeling. She loves and hates both of her countries — she considers herself American by this point, and her accent is flawless, though some of the other languages she speaks have a hint of Russian tinting them — but more importantly, she loves humanity. She has been known to also fall intensely in love with individual men, but has had her heart broken and her life endangered enough that she closed off. So despite these deep feelings, Natasha isn't interested in romance. She would find it difficult to open up and make herself vulnerable in the ways that are required for a relationship, and though sex can be stress relief, her body is a tool that she uses to manipulate others.

Short of outright prostitution, Natasha is willing to use her sexuality to get what she wants (as she does with Tony Stark) and also subverts the notion that women are all hysterical creatures, often playing up her female vulnerability in order to make men relax their guard around her (as she does with Loki). Secretly, she enjoys taking men down a peg or two: she has a fair bit of sisterhood solidarity, particularly obvious in how she manages to work an alliance with Pepper as Natalie, though there aren’t enough women in movie canon to give other strong examples of this.

As a spy, Natasha has an excellent acting ability, and as such she makes sure she has control of her emotions and the way she displays them, down to her facial muscles. As such, her reactions tend to be minute. She does not laugh often, preferring to smile, or perhaps imply amusement with cutting wit. She does not rage, but has a cold determination that takes the place of anger. She doesn't shed real tears. True emotion is a weakness that could be used against her, while false emotion is something that she can use to manipulate others. And manipulation is what she does best. To some degree for pleasure, though Natasha is not particularly sadistic or prone to visible schadenfreude or gloating.

Because of this, Natasha is hard to read. However despite working a profession that requires her to lie frequently and without hesitation, Natasha tries her best to be honest with herself. She neither buries her guilt nor constantly relives it to castrate herself. By taking the brusque attitude of "what's done is done", she essentially makes it harder for people to push her buttons. Natasha doesn't like people to get inside her head, and she is very possessive of her privacy in all areas. But part of her defense is to try and have no weakness, by acknowledging and owning her weaknesses and dark past. This honesty is also something she prefers (rather than expects) in others. Which is probably a little ironic, all things considered.

Of course, she does have a massive weakness, and that is the shadow cast by her controlling nature. Natasha is decent in volatile situations, she can react quickly and improvise, but she doesn't like being put into a corner with no further back-up plan. She over-prepares. This is why she fixates on Bruce Banner so much: knowing the Hulk could tear her apart and can't be reasoned with or manipulated terrifies her. She also finds it difficult to wind down, relax, or "turn off", and as such isn't good at genuine and friendly social interaction like team banter.

Natasha would like to be redeemed for all the wrong she has done in her life, though most of her misdeeds have been done out of loyalty to a cause and a lack of sense of self; she sold herself to the highest bidder before realizing that she could make a choice to only do good. But of course, she hides herself here, too; by framing it as a desire for balance. Natasha has an eye for an eye mentality, so while she will be driven to act out of vengeance, the debts owed go both ways and she is willing to help those who have helped her.

Part of being so controlling and locked down is that Natasha likes to be informed and on top of things; she's the type to do the research and try and fit the pieces together, use her knowledge of the way people work to understand motives, and then in turn, use them. She is better suited for second in command than a team leader, but despite this she's an excellent strategist and willing to follow orders. There's a strange dichotomy in her independent, loner nature and the way her past in ballet seems to make the flow of her fighting as a team into a collaborative dance.

Character & Canon: Kaiba Seto | Yu- Gi - Oh DM
District: Orlea

Personality:

Kaiba Seto, is the CEO of Kaiba Corp. Like many top business men he does not take ‘No’ for an answer. Kaiba is also very dedicated to the new vision of Kaiba Corp being a holographic Duel Monster company, despite what his top five executives, Johnson, Gansley, Crump, Nesbit and Lector may have to say or try to do about that. As a weakness that many CEO’s tend to suffer from, Kaiba has a weakness for power. Whether that be in monetary value, reputation or dueling deck. Power is everything to Kaiba and if you can't match up to Kaiba you're not worth his time because why waste time squishing a bug? Though Jōunouchi is fun in that sense.

Seto is stubborn as Kaiba for the longest time resents that Yuugi Muuto can out Duel Monster, Kaiba. Over time, however, the Yuugi and Kaiba rivalry they grow to respect the other as a Duelist but Kaiba can still be stubborn in their tag team dueling , that is until Yami no Yuugi goes, "KAIBA!" Which is followed by a short lecture by Yami no Yuugi, this is not about just you Kaiba. Stop being so self centered, this about everyone Kaiba and we need to pull together in order to win or we all lose. Which gets Seto be a team player, it's just the matter of getting him to be a team player. If Kaiba does become a team player expect him to just up and walk away but that’s the life of an Anti – Hero. Don’t worry Yuugi, Seto will come back to challenge you again at the right time.

Jōunouchi (Joey Wheeler) is a pathetic runt to be in Kaiba’s eyes and degrades Jōunouchi by calling him a dog and tries to destroy Jōunouchi self esteem in becoming a better Duelist. There are two drives here that creates Kaiba to do this, one is that Jōunouchi has not gone though what Kaiba has gone though, in the position Seto is now. Also, Kaiba use to be at Jōunouchi level and Jōunouchi needs to prove himself in Kaiba's eyes, with the insults, that Jōunouchi is worthy of being an equal duelist. Basically, can Jōunouchi rise up and win against the challenge.

There is also the whole Kaiba is in denial factor. Which is to say, Seto doesn’t believe that crazy magic hocus pocus that goes on even if it is going on and is the truth. There are a few moments such as when Kaiba meets the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon that Kaiba does believe something supernatural is going on. However, his eyes express this more than anything verbal that Seto believes these things on those rare occasions he does. Which then he does process it and then only to go, no that wasn’t real verbally. Kaiba believes in staying level headed and even if he does maybe believe in meeting the spirit of the Blue Eyes White Dragon you won’t get that out of him.

Seto is very loyal to his younger brother Mokuba and there is nothing Kaiba will not to do protect Mokuba considering Mokuba is the only family Kaiba has. Though he may be hesitant to acknowledge anyone else as friends, as he sees that as a weakness but Kaiba is Yuugi's, Jōunouchi, Anzu and Honda's friend. Which Seto says he is their friend though his actions more then his words ever will.

Kaiba also has a high IQ when it comes to tactics, remarks, technology and running a business.

Seto also has many many secerts about his past that Kaiba doesn't bring up ever. Not even with Mokuba. Kaiba's past is what drives Seto forward, after all the past is the past.

In short Seto is competitive, subborn, mean, egoistic, caring (with Mokuba) and drives himself forward

Character & Canon: Denzel Crocker | Fairly Oddparents
District: Crystalden

Personality:

Denzel is a spineless nerd. Crocker is basically that guy you'd see get the 'Kick Me' sign slapped on his back or shoved in a locker and not do anything about it. Which where his sheer lack of self esteem lies.
That also feeds into his extreme paranoia the man tends to have.

He's very very very smart. At least book smart. The man thinks in strange different ways that usually only those who study Theoretical Science tend to think in. That said when it comes to social cues and common sense the man gets an - F!
When it comes to technology, science and magic he's a whiz!

They say there's a fine line between genius and insanity. Crocker is clearly on that line as he tends to have random angry outbursts or berserk buttons or really absent minded rants.

At times you wonder if the man is hearing voices in his head. Considering he claims to see and hear things that aren't even there... or is there something there?
Yeah, there is something there. Like those fairies!
Denzel is nicknamed 'Crackpot' for a reason.

If one where to look up pessimistic in the dictionary, you'd find a picture of Mr. Crocker because this man dwells too much on the past. As well as the why me? Why does my life suck?

There's also the fact he holds grudges for years. Like those scientists who ruined Crocker's reputation as Denzel tried to tell them magic and fairies are actually real! Crocker will show them all that he's right!

Finally, whole he's trying to destory Timmy Turner his moral enemy. Just your everyday sadistic school teacher.

In short, socially awkward, might be hearing things, driven, grudgeful nerd.

Character & Canon: Black Rock Shooter | Black Rock Shooter (OVA)
District: Crystalden

Personality:

There is an otherworld parallel to our own, inhabited by Otherselves who seem to be constantly at war with each other. One of these Otherselves is Black Rock Shooter. Although on a glance most people would admit that Otherselves are devoid of all emotions, this is false. They seem to be driven by emotions, though they may fail to acknowledge it as nothing less than instinct. They fight because their instincts tell them to, not because they want to. It’s hard to discern their personalities, because otherselves are not particularly fond of speaking, even though they are capable. Words are generally unnecessary unless they yield information.

Black Rock Shooter, in particular, seems to be an anomaly. She seems to be the only Otherself who is willing to reach out to her counterpart (a girl named Mato Kuroi) in order to ask for the help she needs in defeating her nemesis, Dead Master. In doing so, Black Rock Shooter also does not display the malicious that others do. For example, Black Gold Saw seems to be fond of fighting, especially employing brutal tactics, and Dead Master seems to enjoy taking a backseat to her minions deeds. Unlike them, Black Rock shooter takes a much more hands-on approach with fighting, using an unspoken honour code.

It is fair to say that in some part, Black Rock Shooter is Mato Kuroi, but not largely. Whereas Mato seems to be a cheerful, happy-go-lucky girl, Black Rock Shooter is completely and utterly blank and emotionless, only doing what is necessary for her to survive (or fight). Aside from being very determined, there really aren’t many defining features that would really stand out. Perhaps it is this aspect exactly that makes Black Rock Shooter what she is. She seems to be largely unfamiliar with emotions, or even the simple pleasures of life that would come naturally to humans. Black Rock Shooter seems to have some sort of relationship with Dead Master even before the start of the OVA, since she seems to be pursuing the other even without Mato’s help. That is not to say Black Rock Shooter has no emotions, but they are certainly repressed and she would not have an easier time acting upon them. Like a soldier, Black Rock Shooter thinks of the world in a black or white morality, one is either an enemy or an ally; there is no grey spot, though she is certainly capable of developing one as time progresses since she only represses her feelings. Needless to say, socially awkward bikinki loli.

Questions/Comments/Concerns:
1) What if her eyeflame burns down Mallowhallow ( I jest it’s a largely harmless flame)
2) Is BRS allowed to lug around her cannon with her everywhere or are there weapon restrictions?
